Lakshya is basically a group of studets working for charity. We have a vision of bringing a change and we are marching towards it with education as our weapon.

 It was 15th of January, 2015. A group of 4 students met and decided to start a group called Lakshya to provide a platform for the youth to involve themselves in community service;according to their convenience to improve the level of education among the underprivileged children who live in various slums of Bangalore. Initially, we started with 4 volunteers and now, we have grown with more than 50 volunteers.We started with our first project ,Sahaaya.

We started teaching a 10th standard student of a nearby slum under 'Sahaya'. In the same year the number of students grew from 1 to 7 and number of teachers from 1 to 4. As a result of our volunteers' effort and students' hard work, all our students came out with flying colors in their 10th standard board exams. From one project, today we are running 7 projects successfully.We know we have travelled less, but all of us know the path and we are sure that we will all travel as long as we can, well within our limitations.
